The Graduate School of Journalism invites applications for a part-time Sessional Lectureship for the 2012-13 Winter Session (Term 2) to teach a course focusing on human rights reporting. A minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is required and preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience. Applicants from both inside and outside UBC are encouraged.
Applicants should include with their letter of application a CV which includes a record of experience and a detailed list of all post-secondary courses taught including name, length, credit value, and teaching responsibilities; a sample outline; and evidence of teaching effectiveness. Two confidential letters of reference should be mailed directly to the Department from the referees.
