The UBC Master of Journalism Program offers a unique, boutique, learning-experience that leads to a master’s degree. It is the only journalism graduate program in Western Canada, providing students with the professional training and academic grounding to help them succeed as a journalist in any medium.
Our faculty members have extensive experience at the highest levels of major media organizations and are seen as leaders in digital journalism and media scholarship. We pride ourselves on our one-on-one approach, working closely with students in our program, and often providing mentorship long after graduation.
