Registration, Waitlists and Requirements

WRDS 2026S Summer Session Registration

After the initial registration period in March seats may open up closer to the start of terms, as students make adjustments to their course timetables. Space permitting, you are welcome to register yourself into any open section of WRDS 150 or WRDS 151, depending upon your faculty designation, up until the Add/Drop date of the term.

Or …

You Can Place Yourself Into a Course-Wide Waitlist

Registration priority will be given to students who follow the steps below:

  • Make available space on your course timetable to avoid conflict with other courses.
  • Have enough credits to take the course.
  • Have no active registration holds (i.e. finance)
  • Optional section preference forms can be found in the Waitlist Steps below.
  • Please note: Due to time constraints the WRDS Office is unable to process swap requests. Students already registered in the course will be removed from all waitlist sections and preference forms without further notice.

  1. Waitlist oneself in one of the following waitlists - if you are in a faculty other than the Arts
    • WRDS_V 150-WL1 (Term 1 sections)
    • WRDS_V 150-WL2 (Term 2 sections)
  2.  Fill out the optional section preference form that corresponds with your waitlist section:

    • The form will reopen on May 11th

Taking WRDS 150 significantly changed my perspective on academic research. I was exposed to scholarly articles that explored various issues in international development, hence getting a head-start on the questions I would face as an international economics student.
